Re: best trasnmission
As far as performance, you probably would want the type R transmission. It has an LSD, with slightly shorter gears than the GSR transy. This will affect daily driving, you will rev higher than if you used the GSR transmission or the ls transmission. As far as fit, I can't help you there.

Re: best trasnmission
If you want to turbocharge i think the ITR trannys gearing is too short so a GSR or LS tranny would do good for turbo. It all depends on what you want to do with your car. F/I? N/A?

LS transmission is only good for gas mileage, constant highway driving, or higher mph. If you want acceleration, then the other b's are the only options. Even with turbo, you're still losing useful acceleration with the LS.If you want to go all out; then get aftermarket hasport mounts and LSD (as mentioned). |

Re: best trasnmission
What do you mean? Like clutch and flywheel? Those are the only "parts" you can really get for a transmission (other than upgraded LSD).

Re: best trasnmission
oo really my bad my knowledge in trannys arent so great but thats why im here to learn. well as for me i personally still wouldnt get a ITR tranny because(im pretty sure this is right) the short gearing makes bad gas mileage.
