In progress & Completed: Ferrari 312P #18 LM '69

This is my latest project, Fisher Models resin kit of Ferrari 312P. Model represents Scuderia Ferrari entry for Le Mans 1969, car #18. This will be built mostly out of box, only addition will be MFH tires to replace those resin tires supplied with the kit.

Overall quality of the kit is quite nice, only few pinholes in body and chassis plate, but nothing that couldn't be fixed easily. There are 41 resin parts in the kit and nice photoetched parts that include windshield wiper and seatbelt buckles. Two sets of clear parts are (luckily) included. Also included is nice decal sheet that has all sponsor markings, numbers and instrument faces.

So far i've painted most of the parts and decaled the body. Dash was repainted after these photos were taken.

Most of resin parts can be seen in this picture, only wheels ,tires and few small parts are missing.

Here are few pictures of almost finished body.

It's already looking stunning, and I can only imagine how good it'll look when completed. Keep us posted!

Taillights are just blobs of almost dry Tamiya clears over BMF

Thanks, for feedback guys. Progress on this is so fast that next update may be finished model. I painted wheels and rest of detail parts yesterday, just have to decide what to do with tires, i dont really like those resin things that come with the kit but maybe i'll just use them for now and replace them with MFH tires later.

Today i will install windows, which is maybe only hard part on this kit. I already cut them and i'm glaad that there were two sets of clear parts. I needed almost all doubles to get them right.

Well this became very short "In Progress thread" I completed this model couple of days ago, and here are some pics.

This is the completed chassis. Currently has too narrow tires from Fujimi 330P4 but they will be replaced with MFH tires later.

Here is the completed model. Only additions to kit were wire mesh that i added to the rear opening and those tires.

Have you replaced the tires with the wider ones?
Is it possible to see a picture, please?
