Knocking Noise 88 Cherokee

Knocking Noise Heard When Loading Up Drive Shaft, Needs To Go Forward And Then Backward, Swear It Is Bad U Joint, New One Did Not Help, Checked Everthing Else, Nff?
Any Suggestions
