Re: no crank no start

conections, and more conections. If you can clean them. Check the battery and any wires going to the starter. Try starting in neutral. I will look up all yhe causes I can find .
Question?? Does your horn work, your lights, signals etc. Please post relpies. Good luck Wayne

Re: no crank no start

Did you check the relay? Do the horn/starter relay swap test and see what happens. Put your starter relay in the horn spot and see if your horn honks. If it does then, your relay is good. After that you will have to find a loose/bad connection somewhere. Make sure you don't have any corrosion on the terminals or on the wires themselves. The wires will get corroded down underneath the battery tray on occasion.

Just because it doen't start in neutral doen't rule out the safety neutral switch, there is a specific test for the switch in the tranny

OK, when you put your key in the ignition what happens? Do you get lights and the usual chimes? When you go to start the car, what happens? Nothing at all, clicking, does the starter kick in but not turn over? Some more info please.
