Driftfest September 24th

Each day of DrftFest will be broken into 2 sessions. Doing this will allow more actual track time for each driver. The schedule will be as follows:

MONROE, WA. SEPTEMBER 23 :::TRAINING DAY:::

September 23, 2005, Session I, 8:00 am until 3:00 pm

(Session I is geared for the beginning and intermediate drifters. We will have numerous instructors available to assist new drifters and answer any questions, give tips and pointers, and help with any concerns. Also the track layout will be set up for the beginning drifter)

8:00 am – 9:00 am Technical inspection of vehicles for safety etc.
9:00 am - 3:00 pm Instruction and drifting practice

September 23, 2005, Session II, 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm
(Session II presents a harder track layout so is geared for intermediate and profession drivers. However beginning drivers that wish to continue learning and using their drifting skills are welcome to join. The track layout will be longer and quicker because this is the track we will be using for the public event. However we will still have instructors available to answer questions, give pointers and help with any concerns.)

3:00 pm – 4:00 pm Technical inspection of vehicles for safety etc.
4:00 pm – 10:00 pm Instruction and drifting practice

** Subject To Change**

MONROE, WA SEPTEMBER 24 ::: EVENT DAY:::
Session III, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

(Session III is geared for intermediate, advanced and profession drifters. The track layout will be the same as Session II. Instructors will still be available for assistance, but in limited numbers)

8:00 am – 9:00 am Technical inspection of vehicles for safety etc.
9:00 am – 2:00 pm Instruction and drifting practice

September 24, 2005, Session IV, 3:opt to 10:00 pm

(Session IV is open by invitation only for drifters.)

Please remember that if you choose to drift for all three sessions we are offering you almost 21 hours of track time. Also if you purchase 2 sessions you will automatically receive 2 free passes that will allow you and a friend or family member to watch the professional drifters Saturday evening.

Drift Fest is working with NW Harvest to help hunger relief here in the NW. Anyone that brings in 2 items from the list below will receive $5 off gate admission. That means instead of $20 at the door you pay only $15 with two items from the list below. This offer is not good for those who purchase tickets in advance for $10 @ www.xpressentry.com

We will have donation boxes also available if you are not interested in attending this event but would just like to donate. After the event I am taking all contributions to the downtown wherehouse. Don't miss this opportunity to help out other NW families.

Northwest Harvest can use any non-perishable food or monetary donations. We do buy rice & beans in bulk, so we encourage you to donate other items.

General Food Items:
Pasta
Peanut Butter
Canned Fruits & Vegetables
Hot & Cold Cereal
Tuna Fish
Spices & Seasonings
Salad Oil

Whole Meals:
Spaghetti-O's
Stews
Meat & Gravy
Pork & Beans
Soup
Raisins, small boxes
Ramen Noodles

Infant and Baby Foods:
Baby Formula
Canned Milk
Powdered Milk
Jars of Baby Food
Infant Cereal

Due to issues of double booking on our days we had contracted we have been informed today by the speedway that the event is being required to be moved till October 23rd 2005.

We apologize about the inconvenience and had been working to resolve this issue to no avail. All Drift registration and Show registrations along with tickets will be honored on this day. If you have any question feel free to contact me at [email protected] . Event info for the October 23rd date should be up by September 21st. Once again we apologize for the issues this may cause you.

Sorry Gang we had no other option given to us.
