I wanna hook my galant up!!pleez help

Im just starting to become a real car enthusiast...I have a 97 mitsubishi galant 4 door es... I just put 6k$ into a new engine.. I have been wanting to put some money into it to hook it up I need some ideas on How to increase horsepower..I dont know too much about imports but im ready to learn. any HP suggestions would be greatly appreciated..also any parts websites or suppliers would be great. thnx.

these things are easy but not neccessarily cheap. first try installing an ellectric intake and a sports chip. these two combined make an awesome team as the fuel air mix maxes out some nice bhp. also get an electric water pump. it wil maintain ur engine better in the cooling area and give increased pressure which adds bhp. get a larger fuel pump. the capacity of the pump will force fuel through the lines faster and ull burn nice and hot. if u do this though u may need to change the fuel pressure regulator and the oil pump to increase ur crank case pressure. also with this have a catch can installed. it catches excess pressure from the crank case a releases it slowly so ur dipstick wont shoot out frfom the added pressure. with a stock setup the excess pressure is fed back into the air flow which is bad cos thats dirty air. the catch can will increase efficency and overall engine life. u can also have ur head shaved to give u more wind resistance- no im joking, i mean the engines head. itl increase engine preasure to give more power. dont shave to much down though or u risk a cracked head. boring ur cylinders and changing the piston rings also add pressure. (the more pressure the engine has in side the more it can push into turning the wheels so pressure=power). and last but not least get rid of the catalytic converters. the cat cleans the gas throroughly but hinders gas flow. extracters and a nice big streamlined sports exhaust and racing muffler will allow the gas to exit alot faster and the racing muffler itll come out nice and clean. by having an efficient exhaust ur engine is free to push the pressured gas harder through the manifold. there aint much more u can do for ur car without turbo or supercharging it or muckin about with computers. get that done and ur looking to more than double stock output.
