2000 Yukon XL intermittent starting problem
Our Yukon XL will occasionally not start. It is not a battery or fuel problem but when the ignition is turned there is no crank and the dashboard lights dim. After waiting awhile it will then start. Any ideas?

Re: 2000 Yukon XL intermittent starting problem
The fact that the lights dim indicate that power is getting to the starter. Either there is a bad battery cable or the starter itself is going bad.
I would start by cleaning the battery cables (at both ends) and replace the cable(s) if they look bad. //2000CAYukon |
