I just got my 86 V6 SE back on the road and a black plastic piece fell out of the front of the car. There are 2 of them, bolted with 1 bolt each, one on each side of the radiator. they don't touch anything on the car besides where they bolt to the car. They are an odd almost triangular shape. What are they? And are they needed?

Re: What are they?
Ducts, maybe?? to make sure all the air goes through the rad instead of some going around it?

Like magicrat had suggested I believe they are air deflectors to direct more air towards the radiator. Speaking of strange parts, what are the two coffee can looking things under the hood of the 2.8??
