Vtec?

Im getting a new car soon. I'm looking at 92-96 Preludes. I dont know much about Hondas. Which models have the VTEC motor? Thanks.

its literally called the prelude si vtec, dont get it confused though because not all si are vtec

lift tha hood and it should say DOHC VTEC and DONT forget the VTEC part cause all tha ludes have DOHC on tha valve cover.

A way to see if he swapped the engine or not is to look at the tach. The VTEC tach redlines at 7400rpm where as the H23 is 6500 I beleive.

No I mean a good way to tell if he actually has a 4th gen that came with a H22 or if it is swapped. Does that make more sense?
