Dying Problem

Blazer dies or won't start. First time it happened, we made a quick run to the store, got back in, it started with half power. I turned it off, then restarted it, everything was fine. Now, it will sometimes do absolutely nothing when I turn the key (no clicking). After a few tries, it's been starting. Will also go shut off while I'm driving, but so far it has started up fairly quickly.

99 with 87K. Battery has been tested, alternator is only 2 years old (bought same time as the battery, predictably).

Any help?

Re: Dying Problem

check your battery connections.

Will the dash lights at least come on when this happens?

The Neg. connection was a little loose, but the CD player still worked. Funny, because when I turned the key backwards and tried to roll the windows up, it would cut the power.

Doesn't matter now. Just keeled over at the same grocery store parking lot and got towed. Guessing it's something to do with the ignition. Finally got the windows to roll up, at least.

F'n sucks. Wanted to own a vehicle that didn't have to get towed. Oh well, maybe next one. Thanks anyways.
