s13 vs M3
I was wondering which is the faster car. One of my friends has a 1990 s13 blacktop 240sx bone stock motor. My other friend has a 1995 M3 all original. The kid with the 240sx thinks that his car will blow the m3 away, the M3 driver wants to race to find out and the kid with the 240sx won't race him. If anybody knows how these cars compare please share.

Depends on the driver. In theory, the M3 should win, I think they were lower 14 second cars, while SR20DET'd 240s are middle 14 cars.

A stock blacktop puts out what, like 180-190 whp??? I believe the M3 will kill it. I've seen SR20DET's in action, and raced one in a 240Z (Panda, Matty's car). Stock they ain't shit, but modded they can haul pretty well. I have yet to lose to one in the WS6.

They "raced" today
Yeah they finally raced today, and my friend rob with the 240 would only race from a roll. So they went from 5mph up to 90mph and I know why Rob didn't want to race the M3. They both nailed it on the third honk and the M3 raped it, the m3 pulled like 2 car lengths at the start of the race and slowly pulled from that point on. The kid with the 240 says it would have beaten the m3 but his clutch was slipping, so well see

yah, sounds like your friend with the 240 is a little bitch and needs to have some work done if he wants to be taking out m3's instead of sliding it.
Always remember though people, most import turbo motors aren't too impressive at stock levels. Turbo motors are known for the power response they yield with minor mods. Hell you can squeeze 25+whp with something as minor as a boost controller on some stock turbo engines. They undertune them from the factory to keep the reliability. At least your friend with the blacktop will probably be having less shit going wrong with his car.

My money is going to the M3. Why? because there's a bunch of people who have an SR20det in there 240sx and do nothing much with it. With just the basic mods in that blacktop, it should be pushing close to 210 at the wheels. But...im going for the M3.
