ABS light is on

I know that this is the light for my antilock breaking system, but is this mean that this is something that has to go into the shop to be fixed or is this something that I should be able to do? What is included in fixing this problem by myself?

This is something that you need a scan tool, a good one that has ABS Capability. If the light comes on only when you start to drive it might be a wheel sensor if it comes on right after you start the Jeep it is probally more serious. You might take a good look at the brakes, calipers and check the wiring going to the wheel sensors for breaks. Other wise you will have to find someone with a good repair history for ABS.
