1990 Galant power windows... down, but not up..

My 1990 Galant's front windows will go down just fine, but will not go back up. The back windows work right, along with the sunroof.

When I push the button for either of the front windows to go down , the dome light dims, and the motor in the door wants to work, but if I try to make it roll up, nothing noticable happens. Both of the front windows are now all the way down now.

I have no idea where the relays for the windows are. I have already went through every single connector to ensure everything is plugged in good, and I have checked all the fuses. Im sure if I put power directly to one of the motors, the window will go up. I also pulled the harness out of the door to check for any shorts and didnt find anything.

The car is a 1990 Galant LS Automatic with the sohc 2.0 4g63. Already, I have spent $2g to buy it and get it running.(had chunk missing from the #3 piston, which blew a head gasket...) It seems I keep having problem after problem with it. A couple days ago the cd player was stolen out of it because I couldnt get the windows up. Hopefully I can get them fixed before something worse happens.

Any ideas, thoughts, diagrams, location of the relays, ect is greatly appreciated. Im stumped...

try spraying some penetrating oil (wd40) into the rubber track that the window runs up into, spray it all the way from the top right down to the door and let it run down inside the door.
Thiss happended to me on a rover car the rubbers had become hard and were stopping the windows from moving freely.

the windows rely on an earth supply system (which means the windows always have a live to them but no earth exept when using the button) check all the earths failing that try lifting the window while pressing the button if it helps its the regulator
