Re: Tell us about your car.

I'd like to say how much I admire all of your Corollas. I'd have to say that they were the seed of Japanese reliability!

I took a test drive in an '84 Corolla SR5 today, and I must say, it is 300% a more fun car to drive than my Eclipse. Sure the Eclipse is a wonderful cruise car, but there's so less stress driving an older Corolla (especially since it's RWD). Whipping around in the car was great, so I'm definately deciding on getting one on the near future!

Keep tuning those Corollas, guys! I hope to join you guys soon

Re: Tell us about your car.

like it says below my description below,

1989 blue corolla with 200 000 miles on it, original tranny, clutch, engine..you dont' even hear a valve when i start it cold, nor does it puff black, white or blue smoke in away... i dont even add half a quart between oil changes. i rev it to 6 k alot with no problem.. and it first gear if i ever have to make a fast start i get it to 7k ( no rev limiter ha ha since it's cabred) working AC, cruise, and no rust... something VERY rare in quebec, canada where they put salt in winter on the roads.

it's a not a fast car ( 110 mph) but it's got reliability and it aint a gas guzzler like my last car ( park avenue supercharged) who used to break down for for no apparent reason and at only 80 000 miles..so i got back to my roots.. toyota.. and will stay there...permanently.

to go fast i use my kawi ZX9 sportbike

Re: Tell us about your car.

Ok, mine is basically as everyone else calls it, a ricer. A 91 corolla, maroon, with stripes, a spoiler, spinners, and plenty of interior work, once I can get pictures on here Ill post them. I have done everything with this car from racing to ramping to topping it out at 110mph. The only thing I haven't done is flipped it.
