No Gas Coming In

I have already checked and made sure that I am getting gas from the fuel filter but can not smell or see gas going to the engine from under the breather. If I pour gas into the throttle the car will start briefly. If it's getting past the fuel filter what would be stopping it? Is there something electrical at the injector I can check?
