Yesterday, I noticed some oxidation on my battery connections. I disconnected the cables cleaned the ends and posts with baking powder/water mixture, sprayed them off and reconnected them. Now, after I drive a few miles and stop at a light my car will not idle and stall.. Makes it somewhat difficult to get to work in traffic.. Any ideas ?? Please help !!
Thanks in advance Last edited by rniziak; 08-29-2005 at 10:25 AM. |

Re: 2001 spyger gt stalling when clutch is pressed to the floor
you disconnected the battery which probably reset your ECU. sounds like you didn't let you ECU relearn so thats probably whats causing the problems. try disconnecting the battery terminals again for about 15-20 mins. reconnect them, start the car, and let it idle for about 10-15mins. it should be fine after that.
is your SES(Service Engine Soon) light on? |
