3 series coupe facelift 3rd Qtr 2002?

I'm importing a 330ci Sport into the UK and have been advised by the importer to wait until 1st Sept to receive the car:

A - Because of the new plates
B - Becasue the coupes will receive a facelift (to front and headlights I understand) in the 3rd Qtr 2002.

I've searched a fair bit on the web for pics/details of the proposed facelfit but can't find anything.

Has anyone else heard of this development?

I'm aware that a facelift was applied 3rd Qtr 2001 so I'm not sure whos' getting confused here.
I'd really appreciate any feedback on this.
