I just noticed this on my Concorde 1994 3.3L
According to my Book from Haynes and the label on the radiator of the car, the serpentine belt goes from the alternator down under the water pump and up into the motor idler, from there goes all the way to the other side under the power steering pulley and up back to the alternator. The way it is on my car right now is like that except that the belt goes straight from the alternator to the motor then up (top side ) of the water pump pulley and then, down under the PS pulley. So everything moves in the right direction but the water pump, as you can see, it is rotating in the opposite way. It's this the right way, or someone screw-up ? The label on the radiator match the one on the Haynes book for my car. |

Re: Serpentine Belt
either your belt is the wrong size or it has slip off somehow due to a bad tensioner. Is this the right diagram for your car?

Yes, that's the one, what I got is what you see below everything the same, but that pulley in the middle ( water pump ) noticed the belts goes "ON THE TOP" not the bottom / o \ / \ / \ /O /O\ O\ ---/ \---- Yes tha |
