a/c works after about 10 minutes
Have a 97 blazer and the a/c will not work for about 10 minutes after you first crank it, then once it comes on it will continue working for the rest of the day. It only happens the first time you drive it. Possibly a faulty relay?? Please help..
Thanks, Matt |

Re: a/c works after about 10 minutes
I would agree with that , but since it has a minimum pressure in the refrigerant line (between 20 and 25 psi ) that keeps the compressor from working in damagingly low level . The pressure may be very close to that threshold and your engine temp might warm it enough to make it higher. Just a theory . one or two psi makes a difference in mine .
