Loose Engine Rod!! HELP
I think I have a loose engine rod in my 96 dodge stratus because that's what I've been told. It makes a reallllllly bad noise when I press on the gas. Does anyone know what this means? I heard I have to have my engine torn apart or get a new engine OR get a new car.

Re: Loose Engine Rod!! HELP
well, you've heard right. If you have a bad rod sound, either spend $5,000 for a new engine or just get rid of it. Either way, it's toast.
