3800 series II V6 cuts out @ 40 mph
2002 monte carlo starts to cut-out at 40 mph. In park at 4000 rpm it does the same. 33k miles 3800 series II v6. Its seems to be computer related almost like a limp home mode. any suggestions?

in park there is a rev limiter...and by cut out what do you mean..does it jsut nto go or does it start to run like crap or does it feel liek it jsut doesnt have it...it may be a clogged converter , hows the idle?
