Question Starting condition when wet

Well, I'm back for another go. Whe it rains or it is damp, the engine doesn't seem to want to go when I apply the gas pedal, it sort of hangs and then dies. Theres never any gurrgling or grinding or any other sound when it dies. A brief shudder and thats it. I was able to change the spark plugs with performance plugs and other issues with the brakes sprung up so i haven't been able to test if that fixed it. IF that wasn't the problem, do you think the body rusting away where you pump gas into the car could be the culprit? (The actual pathway isn't rusting, just the body around it. It is contained to the the gas cap area, behind the fueal door) Any ideas? If i can get a pic i'll upload it.

Re: Starting condition when wet

Look at all the threads in this forum on ignition coils that short out when wet....
