Fuel gauge 2k cav

my sis has a 99 LS that she just got with the fuel gauge not working, is it hard to replace if u do yaself..? thx

I have that link already but, is it a cable to the gas tank with a some sort of ball.... i just am not sure if i have to repace the line or ..?
