A/C Issue
So today I was driving home to South Texas in my 98 Firebird. Coming down from the ATX all i got was some Texas heat at it's finest. My A/C was working fine when all of a sudden i noticed the inside of my car was getting hot. So i put my hand to the vents and very little air flow was coming out. The air was still cold but even when i put the fan on high hardly any air was blowing. So this sucked big time. I kept chaning the fan speed but nothin but low flow cold air. On high I could hear the loud fan noise but no air. So I decided to turn off my A/C for a while and see what happens. About 15 minutes later i turned on the A/C and everything was fine. The fan was working and everything. And then later it went out again. Finally towards the evening it stayed working fine.
Any suggestions as to what is going on? Could my blowermotor be going out and or is it something more serious. I recharged the A/C right before summer and the air is cold, I just don't want anything else to break. |

Re: A/C Issue
No airflow I would check to see if the outside air ports are plugged first, then check the blower motor, might be binding after running for a while.
