never seen this before

so i was just diggin around on car domain and found this z32, yea its ur regular show car but look at this engine pick.

[IMG][/IMG]
looks like he custom built a intake pressure equilizer tube before the throttle bodies and threw a bov onto there....

what im wonderin is: is this a good idea? ,i dont want to fall into the deadly "recirc valves are better because of the mas" discussion cause thats a thread killer

I don't like the design... I'm not sure why he wouldn't just have another Blow-Off Valve, they're not that expensive.

i dont see the point of it unless he just wanted a single BOV...but reguardless, it seems like a waste of time. the Z32 already has an air balance tube on the upper plenum, so i dont know why someone would need another.

i think i have seen them before but that was along time ago and i dont remember where. if you buy hardpipes and BOV's from the same place like Z1, they might install them for you.

Re: never seen this before

HKS makes a hard pipe kit... It's about $350.

Re: never seen this before

yeah i really don't like that design either... that'd just cause worse boost response and screw up flow in front of the tb's...
