Blazer/Jimmy Lift Kit and Offroad Package

I have a 93' Jimmy 4wd 4.3 vortech. I just took it offroading today and had a blast. I think I will have more fun offroading then I would if i had a little speedster car and going fast. My neighbor explained that off roading gives you a "4mph Adrenaline Rush".

Anyway it was great, but there were some sections of terrain my jimmy couldn’t handle. I need more ground clearance and bigger tires. If I do get a lift kit, what should I get, 2" ? and what size tires.

Is there a site that offers offroad packages or sites I could order an offroad parts catalog? I’m new to this whole offroading thing so I don’t know too much about it.
