Need Saginaw transmission info

Hi Chevy Gurus,
I have a 1968 Firebird with what I believe is a Saginaw transmission out of a Chevy, but I need some help. The VIN stamped on the right side is 18K184566. If I am correct, the 18K1 translates to Chevrolet division, 1968 model year, Kansas City plant, V8. From what I have researched neither the Firebird or Camaro were not made in KC, so it must have been used in some other model. Other numbers on the case: RH passenger side - 3925658, B293; LH driver's side - 3952647, A294; extension 328558. Anybody know what it's out of?

Thanks,
