Try here for a diagram. it says 98 at top but covers 85-98.

Re: fuel pump prob and gas guage wont work

Had this exact problem with my '93 GA, 3.3L
Prev. owner had installed two new fuel pumps and a new relay, and still had the problem. I lucked out and noticed that the pump harness plug where the harness plugs in above the rear axle had one terminal that looked wider than the others. Solved by inserting a small piece of stranded wire in the suspect female plug terminal and reinstalled. which apparently tightened things up. Pump and gauge now run perfectly.

Re: Fuel pump

Don't know if siezed pump would cause gauge malfunction. I do know that there are only 3 wires going to that fuel pump. Figure out 12v + and - on the wiring diagram, noting which polarity is which color wire; unplug the pump harness above the rear axle and jumper the correct 2 wire terminals with a good spare battery. Should tell you if the pump works, or if your problem is elsewhere. You might get a spark so watch out for any fuel leaks.

Re: fuel pump prob and gas guage wont work

the gauge/pump are connected inside the tank. if these came loose for some ungodly reason, they wouldnt work.
Most fuel pumps I seen go bad because the filter on the pump inside the G. tank get holes large enough for debre` to enter and seize the pump.
