Aircon blower switch only respond to level two higher, not level one

When I turn the aircon switch to level 1, the fan would not run.. However, if I put the fan switch to level two it will.

The compressor fortunately seems to be responding to switch one.

Is there a quick fix to this problem or should I call an electrician.

Thanks in advance

The problem is with the blower motor resistor located next to the fan. The resistor is available from a dealer for about $40 and is not hard to replace. I really don't know where it is located on the Montana.

Should be behind the insulator panel, passenger side (where the passenger's feet would be).

You may have to remove the blower motor to get access to the resistor assembly. Should be a relatively simple job.

Take Care,
