Re: outside temp. control giong crazy???

I've posted before about my themostat reading 50 degrees when it's much hotter. also, I don't know if this is related but my shift lock is not working well either... I'm going to my dealer if I can't bear these two things any longer.

I found that the AC works as normal, just the display is reading 50 when it's like 90 outside.

I had this problem about one year ago after my car was serviced at the dealership. It turns out that they spilled some coolant on the temperature gauge.

If you take it to the dealer they can fix it for you. It was free under my warranty.

Hope that helps.

I had that same problem with my '03 EXT. The sensor is up under the front bumper and when it gets wet or dirty it does not work . When it dries out it is supposed to fix itself.
