2000 monte carlo ss air conditionining
i just put a new serpetine belt on my monte now the a/c isn't working, did i mess something up? it seems that the clutch on thfront of the compressor is not kicking in, i have checked the fuses. also my fan only runs in the 5 position is this an easy fix or something complicated?

I had a problem like this and it was a switch under the glove box, near the motor, passenger side, it is not that hard to change and the part is like 30 bucks, if you have a dealer do it they charge 200 to 300 bucks. I changed that part and mine was working fine. (The clue is the fan only works on high)
