SLP Loudmouth on a V6 Firebird

is this a good idea or no? i want a mean sounding exhaust and i've heard that the loudmouth is mean sounding. im also thinking that it might be alittle too loud. a sound clip of the loudmouth would be very helpful. i just want to know if the loudmouth would sound good on my V6 firebird. i used the search but didnt find much information on the loudmouth on a V6

Re: SLP Loudmouth on a V6 Firebird

Are you referring to the cat-back that only has a resonator? If so, then if you like sounding like a civic with a fart cannon, then go for it. Of course it'll sound real mean at idle and under 3k rpm.. but once you get goin, it just sound like plain fart... Heck, I keep my cut-out on my exhaust closed all the time just because of that. I know the loud mouth kit looks appealing due to the low price, I even considered it at one time, but it's really not worth it IMO. It's just extremely loud, and from what I heard, tends to get very annoying.
