New LAW?
Ok...from my dad a about a year ago...legislation passed that police are allowed to pull you over and search your car for no reason what so eva.
Then i was having a drink with a friend talking about it yesterday...and he read in the paper that they have to ask for your permission first. If you decline, they dont have a right to search your car... Which one is true???

police can search your car if u act suspicious, they can smell drugs inside your car (pot), you have a criminal record or you are known to consort with known criminals.
they will ask you if they can search your car and u can refuse to, they'l have to let u go (thats if u dont fall into any of the above criteria i mentioned above). they cannot pull u over and ask to search your car, they have to stop u if you break the law or its an RBT |
