Here's a pic just incase people don't know what you are talking about (pic shown on Midori Green EK from FF Squad)

The JDM 5th gen civics looked the same as the USDM models. The JDM bumpers for the 6th gen civics are only avaliable for the 3dr and sedan... the reason being that Honda Japan didn't produce the 6th gen coupe for sale in Japan.

*edited pic, original obtained error.

I feel the same way about them. Although I've found that not too many people care for them. Personally I think they look clean.

So would the car be even cleaner if you shaved the door handles too? Or would that be too clean?

We just have different standards, I like the mouldings on the bumpers considering his JDM SIR lip, CF Hood, Spoon Mirrors, Black side skirts, Spoon CF wing, Sw388s, and Black side moldings. You cant see it all from the pic, but if you could... you'd see that it matches quite well.

I'd heard somewhere that in Japan it's actually against the law to shave the bumper moldings off the civic... but that was just Silverbolt talking. It was a hot day, and he tends to get a little crazy.

Nope, painted handles would do...

If you want a JDM car, move to Japan :finger:

BAh it's how people are. People with moldings want to shave them, people without moldings want them

I want to shave mine

Um, the 6th gen front bumper fits on all 6th gens (well, 96-98). So a bumper made for the 3dr or Sedan would fit the coupe. I may have misinterpreted what you were saying, but it sounded like you said it wouldn't.
*shrug* I think it looks pretty sweet with all the other stuff. (Could use a type r grille though)

Oh, I see what you are saying, and you're right... the front bumper will fit, but you couldn't have the rear bumper, and that's what would be important to make it all match up.

Damn, the pic I posted isn't loading... don't use Fotki to post.

I'd guess you're against Motorex selling Skylines in California then correct? Because it's JDM and all.

What's your problem with JDM parts? I'd agree that you can definetly go overboard, with stuff like JDM coin holders and stuff. I just feel like some of the parts that come out of Japan look cleaner and are better made than some of the USDM options... I'm talking mainly OEM Lips and stuff.
