Question center differential.

Noob Question real quick: why dont they make a 6 spider center diff.

Re: center differential.

The gears go on a cross shaft, so there are only 4 points on the cross shaft to put a gear. To fit 6 in there would be a massive nightmare, not to mention the gears would have to get a lot smaller.

Speed Design is what I always used. I managed to cut one in half, and they since modified thier procedure (high powered cars will need to buy a new case if they broke the stocker). I wore a second one out after that and went to a spool. Jeff or Mark found a post where I casually mentioned it on the DSMlink forums and took the time to PM me to say they would take care of the diff for me, even though it was 6 months later and I never said anything to them about it. They absolutely stand behind thier product!! Very unusual in this business it seems. I have no personal experience with the BM or Shep CDs unfortunately.
