Plug change

I would just like to change my plugs(01 rodeo) with Denso plugs. I'm a rookie. "remove the cap (two bolts) unplug electrical connection" now what. Does the that rubber gasket pull all the way out?or I'm I completely off base?? Any help would be appreciated. PING PING
