2001/2/3 Galant ES
yea i kno i should post this in the galant section but i've seen DSMers replace their block with 4g64. we have a 2002 galant es. 2.4 sohc a/t. my brother wants to replace with a 4g63 head. do you guys have any guides or comments on this?

the 4g63 is a dohc platform and you said yours is sohc so Im assuming
that its not possible...

There has been a successful DOHC conversion done on the 4g64. I think www.barnonemotorsports.com did the first reported one, go there.
The link doesnt seem to be working right now, but do a quick search on DSMtuners and here, and you'll find what youre looking for...its been well documented. |
