Question dome, courtesy lights staying on

The dome lights on my '01 Grand Am GT (V6 automatic) stay on after I start up the car and stay on until I drive away. As soon as I come to a complete stop, the lights come on again until I start driving.

Also, when I would lock the car with the remote keyless, the headlights would flash and the horn would beep. Now it just locks. The doors also won't lock by manually pressing the electric lock button on the door. My security light is staying illuminated.

I have tried to see if the door lock relay (or any relay for the matter) needed to be fixed. But after switching around all my like relays, nothing happened. Anyone have this problem or could help me out? Thanks!

Adam

Now, unfortunately the chime when my door is ajar or keys left in the ignition is going off all the time. Even if all of my light switches are off and nothing is open, the chime continues.

I actually had to remove the fuse that controls the chime noise.

Of course, my other problems listed above continue to plague me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Adam
