Then When I Was Going To Leave It Wouldn't Start. Just Turned. I Kept Trying Until It Drained The Battery.got A Jump And Still Wouldn't Start.put Starter Fluid In And It Kicked Over For A Few Seconds Then Died.left It There For A Few Days Then Had It Towed Back To My House.then Just For Giggles I Thought I'd Try And Start It And It Did.drove Around The Block A Few Times Then Turned It Off.started It A Few Times To See If It Would Keep Starting And It Did. Later That Night I Wanted To Go Somewhere And Was Cuttoff Because It Wouldn't Start.this Time It Only Turned A Few Times Before The Battery Was Drained.i Have No One To Give Me A Jump And No Ride To The Store Damnit!!!!!ha Ha Ha.can Any One Tell Me What To Do Or Know Whats Wrong?

My first guess would be the fuel pump. If you hook up a fuel pressure gauge to it when it won't start, that should give you a starting point. Also, check the relay, oil pressure sending unit, ignition module and check for spark, before replacing the pump. If your engine has the TBI system, I think your fuel pressure should be between 9-13PSI. Of course, you just need to turn the key with the gauge attached, to see it come up. After a few seconds the pump shuts off.

Re: 93 5.7l V8 No Start?
I agree, fuel pump. I just replaced mine, as it was acting very simular, with a Delphi Brand from O'reiley's. Delphi is what GM uses. Was about $50.00, replace filter when you change pump. Took me about two hours to drop the tank and replace it. Gm wanted $320.00 to do it and there pumps are $80.00. I put an off brand pump in just 6 months ago, so get the Delphi pump the first time. Good luck!

6 or 8 bolts, I think 8. Get some PB Blaster to spray those bolts, or they will be a bastard. Then just undo the fuel tank nozzle and ground wire, and unplug the wiring harness behind the bumper and undo the ground wire, you are set to go my friend!
