Turn signal lever

Hello,
My turn signal lever broke off. I don't even have a nub. I took off the steering shoud to get a better look. I found that it is connected to a devise that also holds the windsheild wiper lever. I thing I can remove the whole assemby if I take off the steering wheel. I Do Have Airbags in the steerinf wheel. How do I remove the wheel without disturbing the airbags in the middle?

Re: Turn signal lever

Man you're screwed... My parents back in the day just shoved a screw driver in there... Maybe you can see if that works.. I only say this because the car isn't worth fixing......

Re: Turn signal lever

Honestly, I would take it to the dealer and tell them that you need the part replaced. Let them do the work. If there is any disabling of the airbag required, they will know how to properly do it and safely replace the part. For something like this, I think it would just be easier to let them do it - better safe then sorry.
