brake rotors

I want to replace the front rotors but was wondering how tight they should be. hand tight, snug , or really snug so there is no movement or just a little side to side

Re: brake rotors

Not sure what you mean??

When you torque the lugnuts it will seat your rotor.
It MIGHT have some play without the wheel off.

The rotors on a 97 G/A will be clamped between the wheel and the hub..the lug nut torque is 100ft/lbs
The largest contributor to brake pulsation on vehicles with hubless rotors is incorrect lug nut torque
