Our names are Giancarlo Massaro and Steven Kovar and we are the co-founders of www.thecarshowcase.com. The Car Showcase (TCS) is meant to bring together those who appreciate the visual and performance modifications of their vehicles. Through weekly contests, a vehicle profile system, and a well-traveled forum, members of the community can come together to exhibit their own cars as well as to celebrate the entire culture of car modification. The Car Showcase is in its final stages of development and the site is going to be opened within the next month.

Every couple of weeks, our website will hold contests with prizes awarded to our members. Tiers will be set-up and each one will have a different category, such as best rims, cleanest car, and best interior. Our members will be able to come to our site and sign-up for a contest by completing an on-line entry form and uploading pictures of their cars. Members will pay a small entry fee to participate in our contests. Each submission will be judged based on a list of criteria to be determined. There will be four separate contest levels, as follows.


Tier Level 3 is the lowest level of competition, meant to attract contestants who put a small effort into their cars; your everyday car enthusiast. This tier will most likely be free entry, and prizes such as ipods, XM radios, etc. will be given away.



Tier Level 2 is for more dedicated car modifiers. These are individuals who take their cars to body shops to fine-tune their vehicles and who frequent car shows on a regular basis. You will have to pay a fee to enter this tier. Prizes will be bigger and more expesnive here, exhaust systems and body kits.



Tier Level 1 contests are targeted towards the professionals in this field. With top-of-the-line vehicles modified to near perfection, Level 1 contests will be competitive and a close call every time. You will have to pay a fee to enter this tier. Prizes are expensive here, ranging from rims, to seats, to expensive engine parts.


Triple Crown Events are designed as TCS’s premier cup event, with less strict contest terms that will allow anyone serious about their car to enter for a chance to win the TCS trophy and other prizes. This is the biggest event TCS offers. The winner of this event is featured in our header, as our car of the week. Also, our future plans include a magazine which will feature our Triple Crown Event winners. You have to pay a fee to enter this contest. The winner will recieve a large cash prize, a trophy, and possibly a professionally painted picture of their ride.

TCS is seeking a company that will supply us with after-market car products which will be awarded as contest prizes to our members. In return, TCS will set-up an online store where our members can go to purchase after-market car products and accessories. If your company would like to become our official car store then all sales will go through your online store. We would not take a percentage of your sales from purchases coming from our site, as long as you supply TCS with items to use as contest prize. In addition, we can modify your current website by providing you with a new layout and/or logo.

Our future plans may include a magazine and TCS would provide advertising space for your store.

The site will also include a vehicle profile system, much like myspace, however more organized, and more professional looking. Also, the site will have a forum much like automotive forum. If you would like more info and a site overview, you can contact us (contact info below)

TCS was conceived through the illustrious mind of co-founder Giancarlo Massaro and his idea was reinforced by co-founder Steven Kovar. Their goal is to create a car-enthusiast website that offers quality content with a clean and sleek design. With an emphasis on style, coupled with the power of functionality, The Car Showcase is a winning concept guaranteed to attract serious car enthusiasts of all ages.
