Dealer wants to flush fluid in my 2002 with only 32000 miles ('burnt smell'), $135+. Has this been an issue? I'll just do a partial change myself for now ( the old suck it out of the reservoir routine). Thanks!

Yea, the power steering and brake fluids are the only ones that are original on my TB, everything else has been changed (ATF only partially).
Thanks!

Re: Need to change steering fluid??!
Hey Erik. Do me a favor and check your PS fluid. Mine was indeed solid black and 'burnt'. I'm proceeding with the change.
