Re: Got my FMIC have questions before install
Did you just get the fmic or did you get the piping too? Depending on the size you might have to cut the fiberglass bumper.

depends on size of intercooler, is piping included? and etc. Mine took about 2 hours the first time and then a bunch of re-fittings after that. Took so long really because of homemade piping but if it is premade your set.

This is the specs...Length 31" (600mm)
Height 11" (280mm) Thickness 3" (75mm) The piping is homemade but done for me to fit the IC

Re: Got my FMIC have questions before install
If your pipes are allready made. Taking the head lights and front bumper for the first time can be an experence. Then mounting the intercooler could be intresting as well if there are no brackets or mounting supplys. Getting the pipes to fit is pretty easy if you made the right messurments.
Test fitting your bumper where you'll want to be carefull, cutting bumpers is a little numbing. Can't go back and do it agian if you mess up. I'd say on a first time install. Give yourself at least 9 hours.

Re: Got my FMIC have questions before install
Now exactly what do you cut it with? And what do you cut? Do you cut the actual bumper or that white bumper piece?

Re: Got my FMIC have questions before install
What did you guys use to cut the black piece offf of the bumper? Did you guys like make measurments not to fuck up? Im scared that i will make it uneven. For those of you who are unclear, its the black piece that sits right under the diamond and under the license plate.
