Unhappy Electrical problem with my 98 Bravada

I have a 98 Bravada that has had a problem starting. I've checked the fuel presure it has none but it cranks good. I had it towed to my mechanic and it started rite up. We have already changed the fuel pump and fixed one short. I assume that its another short or bad ground some place I had a huming sound comming from under the fuse panel and changed the fuel pump relay but it didn't fix the problem. After over a year of assorted problems from wiper motors to transmitions I think its time to put her up for sale or back to Detroit LOL. Any body got an idea how to fix this electical problem?

Try checking the ignition switch.
I had the same problem, after $1200. worth of needless repairs
it ended up being just the switch

you might also want to have your mechanic check the crank postion sensor. this can cause slow start or no start conditions and can be something as simple as a dirty connection.

a 98, huh? just a baby, probably less than 135K. thats about the mileage where you may get a rash of problems. once you get past that phase, and get everthing fixed you can expect another 100k of relatively problem free driving.

i bought my 92 from a guy who went thru that and just got frustrated and decided to sell it. i bought it for $2,000 and spent about another $250 to get it running right. i origionaly bought it for my wife, but it's such gem, i may keep it for myself.

Thanks I'll check that out. Rash is the nice way to say it. I've had the transmition rebuilt, drivers side window motor replaced the front and now the rear wiper moter. I forgot the pasanger seat adjustment lever, hood release and rear safety belt are broken and so on. I dont know why but my wife loves it LOL. Thanks again for the info.
