Lightbulbs for my Headlights
One of my headlights went out and i wanna replace it....now i went to a nearby pepboys and i saw some 'hyperwhite' and other such lightbulbs...My question is will it cause any problems? Does it drain extra power? I ask this because i had a Galant before this car and when i did swap the lightbulbs from my headlights it messed up my battery and alternator....my mechanic at the time said it was becuase of the lighbulbs...any feedback?? apprecaite it
thanks |

Re: Lightbulbs for my Headlights
No, they won't draw more power. I upgraded to Nokya Arctic Whites which are 110/100w high/low. As a reference, stock bulbs are 65/55w (IIRC).
