horn to work
what kind of steering wheel is it??(momo, stock, ect)
the horn button work on a ground to make it beep. There should be 2 wires with connectors on the end that connect to the horn button(horn button being like a switch. If you touch both wire connectors together the car should beep. With the momo steering wheels, one wire connect to the hub and the other connects to the horn button. The horn button completes the connection via ground through the hub and stering wheel. trouble shooting -If the car won't beep when connected, check fuse -If the fuse is ok, everthing connected, still no beep with horn, touch wires(wire connectors) together. If beep-replace horn button(horn, ect) If no beep check installation for proper wire connection. I hope this helps, good luck |
