fiberglassing dash

who do i talk to or where can i learn how to do this to my dash?!@ pics below!

Its fiberglass... you do it the same way you do any fiberglass project. Prep the surface, and start laying glass -- dashes take FOREVER to do though, expect to spend the next 100+ hours working on it

One word...

SANDING

To paint it-- the surface has to be PERFECT... its going to take a VERY long time to sand it especially around any edges like where the a/c section is... less you are gay and fill it with bondo -- its all work done in the finishing... if it were EASY, dont you think you would see it more often?

Both of those dashes look pretty stock to me. Other than its "Glossy." Yeah and the 100+ hours in an understatement. Think of it like how you prep a car for paint, think how anal retentive you have to be so you don't have any marks....now think with something a lot more and will ALWAYS be noticable by you and your passengers so things will stick out even more. To me....not worth it :evillaugh

I think that looks nice as hell. Of course, I can't imagine the glare with daily driving. I guess you'd have to havea trailor queen to do that shit to.
