Dome Light Help

i was messing with the dome light the other day, and now when its in the on position, it doesnt work, at first i thought it could be a fuse, and it might still be, which is why i am here, but when u open the dor, or look the car, the dome light wil work, of course it is now set to the middle position between off and on. ive checked the fuses that i thought would associate with this issue, but still nothing., unless of course, its a special bulb, and i migth have blown it, kind of like a 3 way bulb.....either way, i really would like to fix it without having to go to the dealer n get raped. its a 2005 limited edition lx, if that helps.... hmmmm. i dunno, any thoughts ? thanks in advance.

If the light still works in the center position, check the mounting screws for the lamp. Most of the lamps simply ground at the light itself when in the "on" position.

It is also under warr unless you have done some mods or work to the light or circuit.

so, are u saying that perhaps the ground just fried, and its easily fixable, i dont really have alot of time to go to the dealership, being i work 7 days a week. i did hear the sound of like a quick zap when it was in the on position, i just found it strange that it still worked in the center position, but not in the on position. ill look into that tonite after i get outta work. any other comments if needed will be great. thanks alot !
