New to the site, but have reading awhile. Anyhow, I have three problems. First after driving for an extened amount of time. My SES light comes on. When on, the tranny shifts HARD. If in park, it will slam into reverse or drive. If I let it sit for awhile. Put it into gear then drive a little it will go off, until the next long drive. It was worse than this, but I replaced two of the tranny mounts, so now it takes longer for the light to come on. I also replaced the speed control sensor on the tranny. What could be causing this. I had the car scanned, with no codes except the speed control sensor.
Next item, my traction control turns itself off after I start driving up the road a little. No other problems that I can tell. And last, the foot well of the rear passenger side seat fills with water. I believe its only when I runu my A/C. I'm still in middle of verifying that part. But I'm 90% sure thats the only time its doing this. It takes a long time for that carpet to dry. The hard shifting and the wet carpet I NEED info on the most. I can probably live w/o the traction control for now. Thanks in advance. |

Re: Wet interior, SES light w/ Hard shifting, and Traction Ctrl light
I Just fixed the hard shifting on my 95. after replacing the shift solenoids with no luck, I bought a used computer off of ebay. Installed it, cleared codes, and it has been running great for a week or so. I am not 100% on this fix because I have had itr not throw the code for a week before and had it come back on, but it looks very promissing. I had Code DTC 84.
